Angelo Pecora

Etografo · Sarto d'autore

I was born inside a tailoring house. I learned the craft with my hands long before I learned it in words.

This hand has a root. It was formed beside Mario Pecora, in his Sartoria di Alta Moda in Milan — a discreet reference for Italian and international clients of refined elegance, distinguished by precision, suppleness, and a profound respect for materials. More than fifty years of practice live in every garment Bespography cuts and sews.

For six years I led the bespoke atelier of Ermenegildo Zegna as Bespoke Manager, giving face, hands and voice to its Bespoke experience, and dressing clients across the world. There, the gesture of drawing in front of the Client became part of the experience itself.

Today I work independently. I dress few people, one at a time, with a small circle of exceptional ateliers. Each garment is born from a reading and a drawing made by hand, and exists only for the Person who will wear it.

Bespography is the name of this practice.

Not a theory born outside tailoring. A method distilled from a lifetime of bespoke encounters.
