The Foundations
Bespography is not born of tailoring alone.
It arises from the meeting between the practice of gesture and certain sources of thought that have shaped its way of seeing.
For those who wish to go deeper, these are the roots.
The Roots
Listening and gesture. The neuroscience of mirror neurons has shown how one person's gesture becomes understanding in another.
This is the ground of ethographic listening: to read a person means, quite literally, to let oneself be traversed by them.
Living matter. Studies on the vibrational dimension of biology nourish an idea at once ancient and new: that form, sound, and matter share a language — and that a garment can resonate with the one who wears it.
Word and narrative. Philosophy and literature not as a fixed canon, but as cultures of knowledge, reinterpreted by every encounter.
The name, the word, the story: acts that give form to the real.
From these roots comes a method that does not explain a person, but recognises them.
